Use these molded plastic border timbers in place of wood timbers for a long lasting and low maintenance solution around your outdoor playground. Plastic timbers effectively contain loose fill safety surfacing, like engineered wood fiber (wood chips, wood mulch) and loose rubber mulch nuggets, inside the playground area where it belongs.
Highly durable yet lightweight, easy to install and a cost effective retaining system. Border timbers measure 4"W x 52"L and are offered in 8" or 12" heights. The 8"h border timbers are best when only a 6" depth of loose fill surfacing is required. The 12"h timbers are suitable for depths greater than 6"d.
