Terms and Conditions

1. Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice.

2. Currency: All prices listed are in US Dollars.

3. Payment: All forms of payment are payable in US Dollars.

4. Shipping: All products shipped from our facility, FOB, Saline, Michigan, and the freight costs are prepaid and added to the order. In some cases, items are drop shipped from other facilities, FOB shipping point.
- Items in stock shipped within 1 to 3 business days. All other items will be shipped as soon as available. We normally ship via UPS, but reserve the right to ship small orders via USPS Priority Mail, and in the instance of larger orders, we will use common carrier, for which the shipping costs are currently calculated on our website.

5. Cancellations: Subject to Shields Childcare Supplies acceptance and terms. Be aware that when custom product is being made, there may be charges incurred for cancelling before or upon project completion.

6. Damage Claims: Please inspect products promptly and make any damage claims directly to the common carrier. Shields Childcare Supplies will assist in the process of collections.

7. Shortages: Claims for shortages or errors must be made in writing within 10 days from receipt of merchandise, along with a copy of the invoice.

8. Returns: All returns must have prior approval from Shields Childcare Supplies and subject to the following conditions:
-All returned goods must be sent back pre-paid. They must be packaged similar as when shipped to protect the contents.

9. Backorders: We do not normally ship partial orders unless there are special circumstances deeming it necessary. If this is the case, we will notify you.

10. Waiver: A waiver by Shields Childcare Supplies of one or more of the conditions of the Terms of Sale is not to be considered a waiver of any other clause(s) of the terms of sale.

11. Warranty: If our product proves to be defective in workmanship or materials, it will be replaced or repaired, subject to our review and authorization. The manufacturer assumes no liability for consequential damages of any kind, due to abuse or otherwise not normal usage of the product, and the buyer, by acceptance of this product, will assume all liability for the consequences of its use and/or misuse by the buyer or others.
A defect within the meaning of this warranty in any part or any product shall not, when such part is capable of being repaired or replaced, operate to condemn such product.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties (including without limiting the generality of the foregoing warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose), guarantees, obligations, or liabilities, expressed or implied, by the manufacturer or its representatives and by the statute or rule of law.

12. Warranty Service: No products are to be returned to manufacturer without having prior approval. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions on the warranty of our products through the application of the products. Please call 888-806-2632.

13. Repair Policy: Shields Childcare Supplies warrants our products to be free from defects in workmanship or materials under normal use for a period of 12 months from receipt of goods.
-If for some reason a returned product is found to not qualify under our terms and conditions of our expressed warranty, we will notify the buyer of said costs of repair and return freight charges with an explanation. The returned product will not be returned unless we get a response and prepayment for repair costs and/or return freight charges.

14. NOTICE : UNDELIVERED & RETURNED SHIPMENTS : If an order is shipped and is then undeliverable for any reason and is returned to us by the original carrier (UPS), we will hold such product(s) and notify the customer by e-mail and or phone to whom it was shipped for disposition of said product(s). If we are to reship to another address, we will require payment for the return shipping costs to us of the original shipment and the new costs to ship to another destination address.
